Ready to trade your Sunday blues for belly laughs? Join us at the Birchall Memorial Institute for an evening of stand-up that’s guaranteed to shake off the autumn chill and leave you with warm cheeks (from smiling, not cold draughts). Doors open 7.00 pm, show starts 8.00 pm. Grab a drink, bring friends (or someone you’re pretending to know), and settle in for a top-tier line-up of comedy-cracking from emerging stars and seasoned crowds-pleasers.

Ryan Mold

Ryan’s quickly making waves on the UK circuit. His show “Mold: Before I Die” was described as a stand-up about growing up with grandparents as legal guardians — a fresh take on “normal” childhood, rendered with mischievous insight.  He’s been hailed as a “rising star” with a razor-sharp presence.  Expect him to take the familiar — your first job, your weird family, the “what if we hadn’t” — and twist it into laugh-out-loud gold.

Chris Chopping

Chris comes with credentials: Bedford-born, cut his comedy teeth in Wales, established as a go-to for UK clubs.  Reviewers describe his style as dry, intelligent and full of subtle punchlines.  Whether he’s commenting on masculinity (“hazmat suit for toxic masculinity” was how one show was billed) or just riffing with deadpan charm, expect something sharper than the average Sunday night set. 

Sally-Anne Hayward

Sally-Anne is no green novice; she’s an award-winning comedian (Best UK Compere 2019; Holsten Pils “Fans of Comedy” award) and a polished performer with global experience.  She’s lauded for her observational humour, genuine stage persona and ability to connect with any crowd.  Expect her to wrap the night with a confident, warm-yet-sharp set that hits the sweet spot between “relatable friend” and “top-flight comedian”.
